2020 Highlights

2020 was a unique but successful year for Twin Oaks Computing. Read below for some 2020 highlights: :

Twin Oaks Computing Continued to Operate Despite Covid-19

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones during these uncertain times. With the Coronavirus pandemic rapidly changing how companies operate cross the world, many businesses have changed the way they operate to continue to serve their customers.

We continued to monitor the pandemic and were able to operate at 100% capacity, opting to have our engineers and staff work remotely to still serve our customers.

CoreDX DDS Training Became Available Online

Twin Oaks Computing began to offer in-depth DDS training virtually to help architects and engineers design and implement high-performance, robust systems with CoreDX DDS. With this online training option there were no limits to the number of attendees present.

Twin Oaks Computing Announced the Release of CoreDX DDS v5.0

Twin Oaks Computing announced the release of our latest version of CoreDX DDS: version 5.0. CoreDX DDS v5.0 contained a number of existing enhancements for our users, including exciting new language bindings, new features and performance enhancements, and better interoperability. In particular:

  • Modern C++ Language Binding
  • Python Language Binding
  • JavaScript Language Binding
  • Performance Improvements
  • DDS Application Definition in XML
  • Flexible Crypto Library Support (with CoreDX DDS Secure)
  • Better Interoperability with other DDS Implementations

Twin Oaks Computing Held Numerous DDS Webinars

While we missed our face to face meetings, Twin Oaks Computing was able to hold numerous webinars. In addition to the Intro to DDS webinars offered to potential clients, Twin Oaks Computing offered specialized webinars for employees of our current clients to help them understand how CoreDX DDS is currently being used within their organization. Companies such as L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, and Lockheed Martin were shown in depth use cases and given an introduction to CoreDX DDS.
